New Britain 20" Water Main Break August 24, 2013 The Jack Farrelly Company's Service Division received a call for assistance Saturday afternoon, 8/24/2013, for a 20" water main break along Corbin Avenue in New Britain, Ct. With a crew finishing up a linestop in Indiana, a plan was put into action and the equipment was trucked back to Connecticut overnight and by Sunday afternoon a linestop was installed. With the 20" linestop in place, the flow of water was stopped and the New Britain Water Department was able to make the necessary repairs and restore the line into service.
